The seminar was a remarkable opportunity for garden enthusiasts to connect, share ideas, and draw inspiration from one another. One attendee captured the essence of the event beautifully:

"It is so nice to be in the company of other garden enthusiasts and the opportunity to share my love of gardening with others and to bounce off ideas are few and far between."

Highlights of the Event

From start to finish, every detail was thoughtfully planned to create a memorable experience:

  • Expert Insights: Freeland and Sabrina demonstrated garden design ideas and provided practical inspiration- right out in the garden where they could be experienced firsthand. Attendees were quietly scribbling ideas in the provided class workbook that they could incorporate in their own gardens.
  • Plant Spotlights: The introduction of unusual and rare plants became a favorite session, with many attendees eager to incorporate these finds into their landscapes despite the challenges of sourcing them.
  • Hospitality at Its Best: The effort behind organizing this event was evident in the welcoming atmosphere, complete with freshly baked pastries, coffee, and a delicious lunch. Attendees also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as gift bags and notecards featuring scenes from the garden.
  • Shared Enthusiasm: One guest noted, "You really hit it out of the park!" A sentiment echoed by many, expressing gratitude for the hard work and attention to detail that went into the event. May of the attendees were experts in their own right- the class learned a variety of tips from an arborist in attendance
